Whether you’re preparing for your first sprint triathlon or targeting qualification for a World Championship event, Paul combines technical expertise, proven coaching methods and genuine athlete care to guide you towards your goals.
With over seven years of coaching experience, Paul specialises in multi-sport performance coaching and endurance swimming, supporting athletes across all triathlon distances from Super Sprint to Ironman.

Catherine Horsfall
Catherine is a British Triathlon Personal Coach with a passion for helping athletes build confidence, consistency and resilience in triathlon. Whether you’re preparing for your first race, stepping up to middle-distance racing or working towards an Ironman finish line, Catherine combines structured coaching, personal experience and genuine athlete support to help you achieve your goals.
Drawing on a lifelong sporting background and her own journey back into swimming and triathlon, Catherine understands the realities of balancing training around work, family and everyday commitments. Her coaching focuses on creating sustainable, enjoyable training programmes that help athletes make steady progress while developing the confidence to achieve more than they thought possible.

Karen Carless
Karen is a British Triathlon Group Coach, England Athletics Running Coach, and Certified Menopause Coach with a passion for helping athletes discover what they are capable of, regardless of their starting point.
Whether you’re taking your first steps into running or triathlon, returning after injury, or working towards ambitious personal goals, Karen combines practical coaching expertise, personal experience, and genuine encouragement to help athletes build confidence, consistency, and resilience.
As a Team GB Age Group athlete and lifelong learner, Karen understands that progress is rarely a straight line. Her coaching focuses on developing sustainable habits, improving movement, and helping athletes trust the process through both the successes and the setbacks.
Karen believes that everyone deserves to feel welcome in sport and that performance and kindness can go hand in hand. She is currently working towards her England Athletics Endurance Coach qualification, continuing to expand her knowledge to better support athletes of all abilities.

Niall Brady
Niall is a British Triathlon Group Coach with over 15 years of coaching experience across a range of sports. A PE teacher since 2015, he combines practical coaching expertise with a strong understanding of sports science to help athletes develop confidence, consistency and performance.
Having discovered triathlon during the Covid pandemic, Niall understands the challenges of starting out in the sport and particularly enjoys supporting beginners as they navigate their first races and training plans. His coaching philosophy is simple: coach the person, not just the athlete.
Whether you’re training for your first triathlon or looking to achieve a new personal best, Niall brings enthusiasm, experience and a supportive approach to help athletes of all abilities reach their goals.
