Strength and Conditioning
Our Strength & Conditioning sessions take place at HX5 Fitness and are designed to help athletes build strength, improve resilience and enhance performance across swimming, cycling and running.
Mondays | 6:45pm – 7:45pm
Led by one of our experienced coaches — Steve, Mark, Dionne or Paul — each session focuses on developing functional strength, mobility, stability and injury prevention in a supportive group environment.
Whether you’re training for your first triathlon, aiming for a personal best, or simply looking to become a stronger and more robust athlete, these sessions provide structured, sport-specific training suitable for a range of abilities.
No matter your experience level, our coaches will help you perform exercises safely and effectively, ensuring you get the most from every session.

Pool Swimming Sessions
Our pool swimming sessions take place at Brighouse Pool & Fitness Centre and cater for a range of abilities, from complete beginners to experienced swimmers looking to improve performance.
Performance Swim Sessions
Monday, Wednesday & Friday | 6:00am – 7:00am
Designed for triathletes and confident swimmers, these coached sessions focus on technique, endurance, speed and race-specific skills. To attend, swimmers should be able to swim 100m front crawl continuously.
Beginner Swim Sessions
Monday & Wednesday | 7:00am – 8:00am
Perfect for those new to swimming or looking to develop confidence in the water. These sessions focus on the fundamentals of front crawl, helping swimmers build technique, efficiency and fitness in a supportive environment.
More Than Just Swimming
Our sessions are as much about community as they are training. After many of our morning swims, members head to Costa for a well-earned breakfast and coffee, making it a great opportunity to socialise and get to know fellow club members.

Track Running Sessions
Our weekly track sessions are delivered in partnership with Trilab Racing and Stainland Lions, bringing together athletes from both clubs for structured, high-quality run training in a welcoming and supportive environment.

Spring Hall Sports Facility, Halifax
These coached sessions are designed to help runners of all abilities improve their speed, endurance, running economy and race performance. Workouts vary throughout the year and may include interval training, threshold efforts and race-specific sessions tailored to a range of goals.
Whether you’re training for your first 5K, preparing for a marathon, or looking to improve your triathlon run split, our track sessions provide a fun and motivating way to develop your running alongside like-minded athletes.
With expert coaching, a friendly atmosphere and athletes of all abilities training together, the sessions offer the perfect environment to challenge yourself and make progress week after week.
